Ideal for EMI suppression and noise filtering — new inductors offer high impedance and high current capability in a compact size

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — September 22, 2025 — Bourns, a leading manufacturer of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, announced the addition of a new common-mode chip inductor series, the SRF3225TAP series, to its lineup of AEC-Q200-qualified automotive-grade magnetic components. Designed for effective EMI suppression and noise filtering, this new series offers high impedance from 500 Ω to 1000 Ω and high current handling up to 2 A in a compact footprint.

In addition, the SRF3225TAP series features a shielded structure to reduce radiated noise and supports a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. These features make it an ideal choice for applications such as automotive, consumer, and industrial equipment that require improved signal quality, equipment protection, and reliability in noise filters and DC power lines.

The SRF3225TAP series common mode chip inductors are currently available and are RoHS compliant (※1) and halogen-free (※2).
