New fuse complies with UL248-14 and IEC60127-1 — 500V rating meets the diverse needs of next-generation power systems

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — June 16, 2025 — Bourns, a leading manufacturer of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, announced the addition of a new high-voltage series to its POWrFuse™ high-power fuse product line. The new series, PF-63R50H, is designed with the advanced features and performance required for energy storage systems, battery systems, and other power management systems.

The PF-63R50H series complies with UL248-14 and IEC60127-1 fuse standards, with current ratings from 10A to 40A and breaking capacities up to 30kA. Both cartridge and axial lead types are available, covering a wide range of applications, enhancing R&D flexibility and meeting system performance and safety requirements.

Bourns® PF-63R50H Series POWrFuse™ High-Power Fuse is now available and is RoHS compliant(※1) and halogen-free(※2).
