The new series uses a nanocrystalline core, achieving high efficiency with low ACR/DCR and reduced losses, and is compatible with DDR5 specifications.

Riverside, Calif. -- May 27, 2025 -- Bourns, a leading manufacturer of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, introduces the SRP2512CL series and SRP3212CL series of shielded power inductors. These new series feature low alternating current resistance (ACR) and direct current resistance (DCR), reducing losses and achieving high efficiency. Bourns designed these new shielded power inductors to meet the latest DDR5 memory technology specifications, specifically DDR5 power management ICs (PMICs) and client DDR5 modules for desktop PCs, notebooks, and tablets.

The SRP2512CL series and SRP3212CL series inductors are manufactured with a shielded structure that reduces magnetic field radiation and a nanocrystalline core that enables high current handling while achieving low buzz noise. Bourns combines its proprietary nanocrystalline powder construction technology with the latest in inductor manufacturing process technology to provide designers with an excellent, ultra-low buzz noise solution. Furthermore, these new power inductors have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, cover an inductance range up to 1.5µH, and are available in 3030 and 2520 size packages.

The Bourns® SRP2512CL series and SRP3212CL series shielded power inductors are currently available and are RoHS compliant(※1) and halogen-free(※2).
