Bourns® CWF1610A, CWF1612A and CWF2012A series provide superior power handling and filtering performance at high frequencies

RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- April 1, 2025 -- Bourns, a leading manufacturer of electronic components for power, protection and sensing solutions, introduces the CWF1610A, CWF1612A and CWF2012A series of chip inductors. These AEC-Q200 compliant automotive grade inductors feature high inductance, high current and high self-resonant frequency in a compact form factor. This provides superior power handling and filtering performance at high frequencies, making them excellent power conversion solutions for a variety of automotive, power, audio and mobile designs, including RF signal processing, resonant circuits, decoupling, noise filters and low current DC power lines.

The CWF1610A, CWF1612A and CWF2012A series all feature wire wound construction on a ferrite core, providing minimal resistance and excellent noise filtering over a wide frequency range. For example, the CWF1610A series offers a saturation current of 200mA to 1700mA, a rated current of 200mA to 1400mA and a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.

The Bourns® CWF1610A, CWF1612A and CWF2012A chip inductor series are currently available and are RoHS compliant (※1) and halogen free (※2).
