Optimized for industrial high current filters, high current battery charging and DC-DC converters, the new power inductors feature a shielded construction and low DCR (direct current resistance)

Riverside, Calif. – March 24, 2025 – Bourns, a leading manufacturer of electronic components for power, protection and sensing solutions, introduces the HRP3822X and HRP5022X series of shielded power inductors. These high current power inductors provide low radiation with low DCR and shielded construction to help ensure stable current flow and improve efficiency in high power applications. They are the perfect current management solution for industrial high current filters, high current battery charging and DC-DC converters.

In addition, the HRP3822X and HRP5022X series feature metal alloy powder cores that provide high saturation current. The inductance range is 0.68 to 3.3 µH, the DCR is 0.11 to 0.42mΩ, and the operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C. The shielded power inductor series is available now and is RoHS (※1) compliant and halogen-free (※2).
