The HVMA03F40C-ST10S flyback transformer is specifically designed to support high power density and high efficiency in a compact form factor. Understanding the power density support requirements in today's automotive, industrial and energy storage designs, Bourns continues to release a family of high isolation flyback and gate drive transformers with expanded capabilities. The extensive capabilities of the HVMA transformers make them an excellent solution for isolated power supplies across separate voltage systems in electric vehicles, transistor gate drives, high voltage battery management systems and hybrid vehicles. They can also support high frequency SiC, IGBT and GaN switching elements in wide bandgap designs.

Bourns offers proven technical expertise in developing advanced magnetic architectures with smaller component sizes. This latest transformer meets IEC standards for isolation and creepage/clearance distances with a state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical design that simultaneously improves system performance and safety. Offered in a 10mm creepage surface mount package, the HVMA03F40C-ST 900 S offers maximum operating voltage with features that help designers support new designs leveraging existing platforms or streamline the design of new platforms. Additionally, this 3W flyback transformer features switching frequencies from 100kHz to 400kHz and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +155°C.

The HVMA03F40C-ST10S flyback transformer is RoHS (※1) and REACH (※2) compliant.
