Analog Devices Featured Products

This month's featured products: Overview

Analog Devices offers a wide range of products with features that are useful in new designs.

On this page, we will introduce products that have clear features and applications and are worth knowing about during the design process as "Featured Products of the Month."
In April 2026, we will be featuring the following two products:

ADA4356: Digitizes current input at high speed and with high precision.
Quad solenoid/motor driver MAX22216 with advanced diagnostic capabilities

Featured Product ①: ADA4356

Product Summary

The ADA4356 is a current-input A/D converter μModule.

This device integrates a transimpedance amplifier (TIA), analog filter, and 14-bit ADC into a single package, enabling direct conversion of current signals to digital data. Despite its small form factor, it supports high-speed sampling.

Main features

• Built-in Programmable Gain Transimpedance Amplifier (PGTIA)
- Built-in 14-bit A/D converter with a maximum output of 125 MSPS
• Built-in 1MHz or 100MHz analog low-pass filter
- Directly supports current input (allows for simplification of external circuits)
• Small BGA package (12mm x 6mm)
Operates on a single 3.3V power supply.

Design advantages

The ADA4356 simplifies designs when dealing with current input signals in the following ways:
- It eliminates the need to configure the TIA, filter, and ADC separately, reducing the number of components.
- Gain and filter bandwidth can be set using built-in functions, making it easier to reduce the amount of work required for design adjustments.
• Supports high-speed pulse input, making it easy to apply to measurement systems that require fast response.

Assumed application

・Time of Flight (ToF)
・Conversion from current to bits
Rangefinder
・Optical fiber sensing
・Optical time domain reflectance measurement (OTDR)
