The APS11202 Hall effect switch can operate over a wide temperature range up to 150°C. Dynamic offset cancellation enables high temperature performance. The monolithic device includes a voltage regulator, Hall voltage generator, small signal amplifier, chopper stabilization, Schmitt trigger and a short circuit protected open drain output capable of sinking up to 25mA.

A sufficiently strong negative magnetic field is required to turn the output on. An on-board regulator allows operation with supply voltages ranging from 3V to 24V. Two package styles are available providing a magnetically optimized package for most applications. The LH type is a small SOT23W low profile surface mount package, and the UA type is a 3-pin SIP for through-hole mounting. Both packages are lead (Pb) free with 100% tin leadframe plating.
