Product Summary
The SMARC form factor is the only computer-on-module form factor with true capabilities that can support both ARM and x86 designs. SMARC has 314 pins on a high-speed MXM3 connector, so it can fully cover both regular x86 interfaces and regular ARM-type low-level signals. With ARM SoCs, there are more possibilities to tap into the product ecosystem of familiar devices such as tablet computers and smartphones. Alternative low-power SoCs and CPUs can also be used, such as tablet-oriented x86 devices and other RISC CPUs.
