Semiconductor strain sensor STREAL

Macnica brand semiconductor strain sensors, STREAL, are ultra-compact, highly accurate, and low power consumption.Conventional large-scale strain measurement systems have been integrated onto a semiconductor chip measuring just 2.5mm square, significantly improving ease of integration into equipment. To ensure smooth integration into customer equipment, they are supplied in the form of a module equipped with a semiconductor chip. STREAL is available in two series. The SR300 series features low power consumption and is suitable for a variety of applications, including IoT. The SR500 series is ideal for industrial machinery that requires precise control, such as robots and machine tools.

STREAL Evaluation Kit EK Series

The "EK Series" evaluation kit allows you to immediately start initial evaluation and PoC of STREAL.
The EK series main unit is common to both the SR300 and SR500 series, and by adding a conversion board compatible with the SR500 series, it can be flexibly used with both series. By using the EK series, risks and hurdles in the initial evaluation stage can be reduced, and operation checks on the actual device can be smoothly carried out.

Features

1.High resolution

The SR300's analog output achieves high resolution of strain resolution of 0.5με or less using a dedicated processing circuit.

The SR500 supports only digital output and achieves a resolution of 0.1με.

2.Small size

It is 1/10 the size of our previous products, significantly improving the ease of integration into customer equipment.

3. Equipped with an acceleration sensor

The EK Series is equipped with an acceleration sensor on its circuit board. Vibration phenomena are generally measured by acceleration, but similar phenomena can also be captured by strain. By comparing an acceleration sensor with the semiconductor strain sensor STREAL, you can experience vibration measurement with STREAL.

4. Equipped with log saving function

The log saving function allows you to save log data in CSV format on your PC, making it easy to analyze measurement results.
