EFM32 seminar lecturer "Yama-san" has two PCs!
In July, the EFM32 seminar will be held three times, so the study session will be temporarily closed. We are working hard to make the seminar easier to understand. Today, we gathered in the conference room to practice for the seminar. Are you going on a business trip somewhere? I'm coming with a lot of luggage. Inside the bag were 3 starter kits, 1 development board, 1 plastic case with accessories, and 2 PCs. I asked him, "Oh, Mr. Yama, why do you have two PCs?" The right side of the photo is the standard specification PC used in the seminar, and the left is Mr. Yama's original evaluation PC. The evaluation PC is a customized PC with past Simplicity Studio versions installed. That's right.
Something happened to the PC that was supposed to be used at the seminar
Mr. Yama started practicing for the seminar using a standard PC. There is a slight sense of incongruity at the beginning of the Simplicity IDE explanation. "Yama-san, for some reason, part of the IDE is in Japanese." When asked, "The IDE is an Eclipse-based GUI, so the menus can be translated into Japanese," he said with his usual smile. No, Mr. Yama, you shouldn't customize the Simplicity Studio used for seminars. It was decided that "I will reinstall it later."

I was personally interested in Japaneseizing the Eclipse menu, so I asked Mr. Yama for an overview of how to do it, but no matter how many times I tried, my PC did not display Japanese. As expected, Mr. Yama is a miracle. According to Mr. Yama, Simplicity IDE has changed a lot from the standard Eclipse, so it takes a little time to work while looking for directories.
Yama's tip
As a result of trial and error, Mr. Yama also succeeded in translating into Japanese, so it may take some time.
Finally, I would like to share with you some tips that Mr. Yama gave me.
