Temperature and humidity sensors are generally divided into resistive and capacitive types. Resistive sensors are generally inexpensive, but they are said to have poor humidity measurement accuracy of 10% above and below. Capacitive sensors are relatively expensive compared to resistive sensors, but they are said to be highly accurate and capable of measuring from 0% to 100%. However, even with the capacitive sensors on the market, there are many people who are concerned about condensation, accuracy deviations over time, and response speed.

(3) Response speed

Have you ever felt that the response speed is slow when using a temperature and humidity sensor? We have received inquiries from customers of IoT products that the response speed is slow and they cannot confirm measurements in real time. This is because real-time values cannot be read if the response speed is slow when monitoring air temperature and humidity in real time.
