The EK-P4 evaluation kit is an evaluation kit that can evaluate the world's smallest differential pressure sensor "SDP31" provided by Sensirion.

The SDP3x is a fully calibrated and temperature compensated differential pressure sensor and the SDP31 is a differential pressure sensor with I2C digital output in multiple versions and a measurement range of up to ±500 OPa in both directions. The differential pressure sensor can measure and control indoor pressure and duct static pressure in clean rooms and general air conditioning.

The SDP3x from Sensirion is the world's smallest differential pressure sensor.

The SDP3x uses a thermal sensor element that applies the flow-through principle for measurement. Compared to general piezoresistive sensors, there are variations in sensitivity, offset drift, hysteresis, vibration resistance, temperature, and mounting orientation in the small differential pressure range. and other characteristics are excellent.

Due to the world's smallest size (5 x 8 x 5 mm), it is especially recommended for applications with limited space. (e.g. medical and HVAC applications)

  • Flow path housing x 1


Sensors can be easily evaluated using the free viewer software. Sensirion's viewer software allows you to:

  • Differential pressure measurement (Graph display in Pa)
  • Changeable time axis (absolute time or relative time)
  • Measured values can be filtered
  • Resolution setting
  • Data logging, data can be converted to Excel format

Start your assessment in just a few steps

  1. Install the USB driver for the included USB sensor cable on your PC. (Drivers can be downloaded from the FTDI web)
  2. Download and install the free viewer software from Sensirion's website on your PC.
  3. Connect the sensor board and PC to the USB sensor cable.
  4. Start the viewer software.


You can now start evaluating the differential pressure sensor SDP3x.
