Features of KX126-1063

KX126-1063 is an ultra-compact MEMS 3-axis acceleration sensor provided by Kionix.
(Kinoix is a ROHM group company.)

This accelerometer uses Kionix's proprietary plasma micro-machining process technology. With this technology, a mass spring with a silicon structure is realized, and acceleration is detected by differential capacitance. Therefore, a highly reliable and highly accurate 3-axis accelerometer is realized.

The KX126-1063 has the following major features.

  • 2.0x2.0x0.9mm LGA12 pin package (pin compatible with KX122)
  • Wide input voltage range (1.71V to 3.6VDC power supply) and stable sensing characteristics with internal voltage fluctuation suppressed by internal voltage regulator
  • 2048-byte FIFO/FILO buffer memory to keep recording data while reading
  • Includes algorithms such as tap/double tap, gesture recognition, and activity monitoring
  • Acceleration range up to 8g and output data rate up to 25600Hz
