BA6951FS-E2 is ROHM's reversible motor driver with built-in speed control circuit.
By varying the output voltage with the control terminal, the number of rotations of the motor can be set, and the motor can be driven at a constant speed by the current feedback amplifier.
This driver supports output below 0.8A, 3~16V. The speed can be controlled by PWM control, and the motor can be driven at a constant speed by the current feedback amplifier as described above. In addition, it is equipped with protection functions such as a thermal shutdown circuit and a current limit circuit.
Control the motor in 4 modes
BA6951FS has two input pins, FIN and RIN, and can control the motor in four modes.
- Stop (idling) mode
Stop mode is available by driving the signal to both pins LOW.
- Forward motor control
By inputting a high signal to the FIN pin and a low signal to the RIN pin, this mode is switched to and the motor rotates in the forward direction.
- Reverse motor control
By inputting a low signal to the FIN pin and a high signal to the RIN pin, this mode is switched to and the motor rotates in the opposite direction.
- brake mode
Brake mode is available by inputting the signal to both pins high.
Used for sudden stops.
Application example
- OA equipment
- money calculator
