Current sharing functionality required for multi-port USB chargers (video length: approximately 2 minutes)

Multi-port USB chargers are convenient tools for efficiently charging multiple devices. In these designs, the digitally programmable InnoSwitch3-Pro and InnoSwitch4-Pro switcher ICs offer flexible power control with their unique current sharing capability.

Two InnoSwitch ICs can be coordinated through a microcontroller to combine output power for single-port charging, or each IC can operate independently for dual-port charging. This simple architecture enables compact and efficient charger designs.
