Design example DER-716: 62W rated triple output flyback power supply for home appliances using InnoMux2-EP (video length: approx. 4 minutes)
DER-716 is an evaluation board for a 62W rated power flyback converter for home appliance or industrial applications. It features three CV outputs (5V, 12V, and 24V). The unique single-stage flyback architecture achieves 3% regulation for all outputs without the need for an additional DC-DC converter. This is made possible only by Power Integrations' InnoMux2-EP switch ICs. Han Cui, senior applications engineer at Power Integrations, explains the evaluation board:
