Lithium-ion batteries (LiBs) have seen increased use alongside the proliferation of mobile phones and smartphones, and are now widely adopted in high-capacity, multi-cell applications such as electric vehicles (BEVs) and energy storage systems. However, LiBs carry the risk of overheating and fire due to overcharging and over-discharging, making advanced monitoring and control technologies essential to ensure safety.
