In recent years, demands for automotive safety and comfort have been increasing year by year, and with the strengthening of safety evaluation programs such as Euro NCAP, the functionality of in-vehicle systems is advancing. While there is a demand for the implementation of diverse functions such as occupant monitoring, child abandonment detection, optimal airbag deployment, gesture recognition, and facial recognition, miniaturization, power saving, and efficient configuration of the entire system are also important challenges.
This video introduces Nuvoton Technology's automotive visual sensing solutions that address these challenges. It explains the role and features of each component, including 3D-TOF sensors for occupant detection and recognition, Bridge-ICs for integrating and controlling multiple sensors, and HMI display LSIs that support improved visibility of in-vehicle displays. It also introduces Nuvoton Technology's approach to functional safety and security, as well as its concept of system rationalization through sensor integration. This content will be useful for developers who want to improve accuracy, miniaturize, and save power while incorporating various types of sensors. In addition, it explains solutions for display systems such as HMI, instrument clusters, HUDs, and eMirrors, which are becoming increasingly important with the advancement of EVs.
If you are involved in the development of in-cabin systems, or if you are considering occupant monitoring systems, sensor integration, or next-generation in-vehicle display systems, please watch this video.
