LC resonant circuit

Do you know the tank circuit? The tank circuit becomes a parallel resonant circuit that oscillates at the resonant frequency by applying energy from the outside. The resonance frequency is the minimum value of the admittance Y=G+jωC+1/jωL, that is, the frequency at which the imaginary part is 0.

That is, the resonant frequency f is

jωC+1/jωL=0

jωC=ー1/jωL

ーω^2C=-1/L

ω^2=1/LC

ω=2πf=√1/LC

f = √(1/LC)/2π

Since the LC resonant circuit cannot have a high Quality Factor value, it has poor frequency stability and is vulnerable to temperature fluctuations.

The LC resonant circuit is excellent when you want to take a large amplitude.
