① Bluetooth SIG member registration

The application is made by linking the QDID of the Bluetooth module and the Declaration ID required for each application, and since it is necessary to be a Bluetooth SIG member to purchase a Declaration ID, member registration is required. There are two types of Adopter members and Associate members.

Adopter members are free of admission and annual membership fees, and Associate members are paid, but there are advantages such as being able to browse the Bluetooth specifications before they are released and purchase Declaration IDs at a lower cost.

② Confirmation of QDID

We will confirm the QDID of the Bluetooth module to be used. Usually found in the datasheet, as in the example below for Microchip's BM83 (Bluetooth Audio Module).

③ Purchasing a Declaration ID

It can be purchased in Launch Studio under the "Manage Declaration IDs" tab, "Purchase a Declaration ID". A Declaration Fee of $4,000 for Associate members and $8,000 for Adopter members is required.

① Project Basics

Enter Project Name and QDID.

② Product Declaration

Enter the product details and release date on the Bluetooth SIG web database below.

・Listing Date

・Product Full Name (product name), Category (product category), Product Website (product website URL)

・Publish Date (Date to publish various information entered in the public list database)

・Product Description, Model Number

③ Declaration ID

Enter the Declaration ID you purchased.

④ Review & Submit

Confirm the input contents and apply. Make sure all statuses are Complete in the Project Status section. Make sure the information you entered in the Project Details section and your contact information are correct. In the Complete the Project and Submit Products(s) for Qualification section, read the description, check the Box and sign to complete the application.
