I tried to measure the power consumption / temperature!
We measured the low power consumption, which is a feature of Microchip's FPGA, along with the temperature using an evaluation board.
The details of the measurement environment are as follows.
- CoaXPress FMC Daughter Card + PolarFire Video and Imaging Kit
- MIPI IP ⇒ CoaXPress Device IP + CoaXPress Host IP ⇒ RISC-V ⇒ HDMI IP (see Figure 1)
- Room temperature about 26℃

Among the advantages of using Microchip's FPGA, the biggest advantage is low power consumption.
