The LX5535 is Microchip's power amplifier suitable for WiMAX, IEEE 802.11b/g applications.
The LX5535 is also a 3-stage monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) with active bias and output pre-matching.
The LX5535 has the following features:
- 2.4-2.5GHz operation
- Single, 3-5V power supply
- Power gain 32dB
- EVM power is 3.5% 54Mbps/64QAM: 25dBm
- Total current 260mA Pout=25dBm, 802.11g
- 802.11b mask compliant Power: 28dBm
- Total current 370mA Pout = +28dBm, 802.11b
- Ultra small QFN package 16pin 3mmx3mmx0.9mm
In particular, when using a single 5V power supply, the power gain is 32dB and the current consumption is 120mA, so high gain and low power consumption can be achieved.
Application example
- IEEE 802.11b/g
- IEEE 802.16 WiMAX
