explanation
Signal transmission speeds are increasing year by year. It is almost impossible to connect a line and operate as before. When it exceeds several tens of Mbps, it becomes impossible to wait for reflection and crosstalk to converge, and problems become apparent. In the previous design, the damping resistance was 33 ohms, so 33 ohms in this case will eventually become unmanageable and cause problems. It is important to understand the mechanism properly, not just the rule of thumb.
