This may be out of the blue, but did you know that Macnica offers production training as a gateway to success for new engineers?

I think most people are probably new to this, so let me give you a quick introduction.

The theme changes every year, and the newcomers work hard to build a robot from the ground up, build it within a set deadline, and finally complete the robots in a competition. will be!

By the way, the theme this time was "Building a radio-controlled soccer robot" after the World Cup in Qatar last year. (As an aside, last year's World Cup was a lot of fun!)

Usually, the main event is a competition between newcomers, but this time, three new engineers, including Kuro-Macnica, teamed up and played a game against a commercially available soccer robot using their robots, each with their own individuality. Cup" was held.

In this article, I would like to tell everyone about my struggles and setbacks in the process of making a soccer robot, so I hope you will look at it with warm eyes!

Outline of the competition rules ~ Get all the luxury prizes! ~

After the overall training was completed and they were assigned to their respective departments, the person in charge of education gave the new engineers an explanation of the production practice and the specific rules of the competition.

The game is a two-on-two gachinko match between a robot created by our rookie engineer team and a commercially available robot! So, a total of 3 games will be held so that 3 new engineers can be paired with everyone. And of course the ball to use is the official FIFA No. 5 ball! Instead of ,, etc., use a ball (about the size of a ping-pong ball) that comes with a commercially available soccer robot.

And from here on, it's important to note that we don't just play games, we give out gorgeous prizes based on the evaluation of "match results," "technical perfection of the robot," and "robot performance on the day (degree of excitement)." It was said that there were multiple prepared!

Let Kuro-chan snatch all the gorgeous prizes! Kuro-chan, who was full of enthusiasm, started the production training.
