DSP Concepts of Audio Weaver is a low-code, hardware-agnostic audio platform that streamlines the development of audio features for a wide range of products.
PC By utilizing a host application based on the HDMI input for product design and combining it with the audio processing engine embedded in the target hardware, Audio Weaver reduces risk and complexity at every stage of the development workflow, from prototype to production. Audio Weaver allows developers to tune and debug their layouts before deploying them.
Audio Weaver There are modules 550 It contains over 100 signal processing blocks. The functionality of the modules ranges from simple filtering to data type conversion, advanced audio mixing and distribution, and even machine learning and dedicated third-party IP It ranges widely. Audio Weaver Drag & The drop environment lets you build and customize advanced audio signal chains: modules can be added, removed and rearranged with just a few clicks, just like a circuit design.
To demonstrate the many modules available, 1 One Audio Weighting We will explain about:
* Provided by DSP Conecpts
The Audio Weighting module implements a series of second-order recursive (Biquad) filters to apply a standard audio weighting curve, using one of eight user-selectable weighting types, to signals consisting of any number of channels. The module allows downstream analysis using a Meter module or other display-enabled sink to reflect the chosen measurement standard. For artifact-free operation, Audio Weighting mutes the output when the weighting type is changed and unmutes it after the coefficients are updated.
DSP Concepts recommends using A weighting when checking microphone specifications and C weighting when measuring levels in voice UI design. Audio weighting can also be used for adjustments and measurements related to loudness measurements per ITU-R BS.1770 and the TASA (Trailer Audio Standards Association) standard for movie trailer loudness using the LeqM weighting type.
When the weighting type is set to ITU468, the Audio Weighting module, located in the side chain of the AGC Core module, creates an automatic gain control design that maintains a more consistent volume as perceived by the human hearing system.
Audio Weighting is just one of hundreds of modules available in Audio Weaver, which offers standard modules such as AGC Core as well as more complex and powerful modules that accelerate audio development for high performance audio features such as immersive 3D audio rendering, multi-channel acoustic echo cancellation, and more.
