Maker Faire Tokyo 2015 was held on August 1st and 2nd. From the first day, I was in charge of explaining at Macnica booth at Maker Faire Tokyo 2015! The voltage at the venue was heating up from the first day due to the enthusiasm of the attendees. At our Macnica booth, there were many examples of works using Koshian on display, but the ones that captivated children the most were ``micRokuro'' and ``Kiraki Light.''
micRokuro は光ファイバーをLEDで照射し、モーターで回転させることで暗い場所で見ると光が回転して見えます。その光を自分の手で自由自在に変えることができるのです！うまくなると光が掌に乗っかっている様に見えるので本当にきれいでした。きらきライトは、サーベル状の形をしているLEDライトなのですが、LEDがサーベルの上から柄の部分までついており、モードによってLEDが音に反応して点灯したり、くるくる回すと文字が見えたりする仕掛けが豊富に盛り込まれていて紹介している自分がはまっていました！個人的には音に反応する仕掛けが好きで、子どもたちと叫んでLEDを光らせていました。

初日にはんだ付け体験にご参加頂いた後、Koshianを親子(お父さんと小学生の男の子)で買い求めいただいたご家族。息子さんに Koshian を買われて、その場でメイキーくんに付けたあと、お父さんも欲しいなぁとぶつぶつ言いながらしばらく悩まれて最後は奮発して Konashi 2.0 を購入いただきました。 2日目、はんだ付け体験コーナーで 慣れた手つきではんだ付けをしている男性の方を発見。昨日親子で Koshian を買いに来られたお客様。ん？息子さんは？ 後ろに奥様らしき方が立っていて息子さんが見当たりません。昨日の御礼を含めてお話してみると息子さんは、今日からキャンプとのこと。『昨日は子どもが一緒でゆっくり見れなかったので今日は奥様ともう一度来ました。はんだ付けが終わったら、mini Konashi を買いに行きます』と少年のようなお顔が印象的でした。
In addition, there were IoT demonstrations such as measuring the temperature and humidity at Makuhari Messe, the venue of Sora Expo, and Tokyo Big Sight of Maker Faire Tokyo with Koshian / Uzuki and showing the data on an analysis platform, and a tank equipped with Odyssey. Various examples were on display, including a light box and a coffee maker that can be controlled wirelessly.
I would be happy if at least one of these examples left a lasting impression on the minds of those who visited.
