What is Internet Week?
Internet Week is an important event attended by many people involved in the Internet business, and is a great opportunity to learn about the latest trends and expand your network. This event is held to bring together experts involved in Internet-related services, operations, development, construction, and research to share and discuss the latest technologies and trends.
Internet Week 2024 took place over three days from November 25th (Monday) to November 27th (Wednesday) at the Asakusabashi Hulic Hall & Conference. As December approached and the weather got colder, the event was a great success, with many participants gathering. In addition, the event was held online from November 19th (Tuesday) to November 21st (Thursday), with many people participating remotely.
During this period, the program that attracted particular attention was "DCI Network Connected with 400G-ZR." This session took place between 17:00 and 18:00, and featured speakers from Coherent, Community Network Center, Inc., and the Company employees. Despite the time being after sunset, a total of 95 people attended.
In this session, Coherent introduced the latest market trends regarding 400G-ZR, the Company explained the technical details. In addition, Community Network Center Co., Ltd. explained actual deployment cases of 400G-ZR.
