Click here for the official blog of the manufacturer announcing the Unified (integrated plan)
With the Unified (integrated plan), you can use two GitHub Enterprise environments, the on-premise GitHub Enterprise Server (formerly GitHub Enterprise) and the cloud GitHub Enterprise Cloud (formerly GitHub Business Cloud), under a single contract. In the past, a contract (cost) was required for each.
With Unified (integrated plan), you can use the GitHub Connect function that integrates GitHub Enterprise Server and GitHub Enterprise Cloud, so developers can use both environments.
When purchasing GitHub Enterprise, you can select from the following patterns.
- GitHub Enterprise Server: Providing services in an on-premises environment
- GitHub Enterprise Cloud: Providing services in a cloud environment
- GitHub Enterprise Unified (integrated plan): Provides both GitHub Enterprise Server and GitHub Enterprise Cloud services
*Prices are the same for both plans.
