SESSIONS
Program List

13:00~13:15
Opening Remarks and Opening Session
NTT West Group and Macnica have formed a business alliance in the field of autonomous driving in 2023 to maintain public transportation and create new local vitality, and have jointly conducted demonstration experiments on public roads in more than 10 municipalities in 2024. In this presentation, we will introduce our collaboration with Navya, a French company that develops autonomous driving EV buses, our vision for Level 4, and autonomous driving related services.

13:15~13:45
Hitachiota City's initiative to operate autonomous driving EV buses on a regular basis
Hitachiota City is promoting various projects, such as attracting commercial facilities to an area of approximately 26 hectares in the city center, in order to create jobs, improve the shopping environment, and encourage young people to settle in the city. We will introduce the new commercial facility and the regular operation of an autonomous driving EV bus (nicknamed "Joppy") in the surrounding area, as well as future prospects, with the aim of creating an attractive city through the fusion of next-generation technology.

13:45~14:15
Issues and possibilities revealed by autonomous driving demonstration experiments: Ureshino City's challenge to implement autonomous driving in the region
Ureshino City has been working on urban development since the opening of Ureshino Onsen Station on the Kyushu Shinkansen West Kyushu Route on September 23, 2022 (Reiwa 4). With the support of the Cabinet Office's Future Technology Social Implementation Project, a national project, the city began working on implementing autonomous driving in fiscal year 2021. In fiscal year 2023, the city conducted the first demonstration experiment on a public road in Saga Prefecture, and this year, the route was extended to a route starting from the station and going around the central city area, verifying the effects and challenges of autonomous driving.

14:15~18:00
Test drive experience & exhibition experience
Hitachiota City/Ureshino City Direct Consultation Corner
This is a corner where you can consult and deepen your understanding about issues and examples of initiatives that are being tackled in all phases of autonomous driving development, from information gathering and consideration, to budget securing, verification through demonstration experiments, steady operation, and the operation of autonomous driving EV buses.

We will make proposals tailored to the characteristics of the region in order to realize "Level 4 operation" and "regular operation" in the future. After implementation, we will make proposals to build a service that is easy for users to use while supporting the social implementation of new mobility services (MaaS creation) by promoting data integration with existing public transportation networks.
EXHIBITION EXPERIENCE

Utilizing future technologies for regional revitalization
Cabinet Office Regional Revitalization Promotion Office Consultation Booth
There will also be a booth where anyone involved in community development can receive direct consultation regarding the use of future technologies to solve problems faced by local governments, and an introduction to the support provided by the Cabinet Office.
This is a great opportunity to get hints for efforts to promote smart cities, including solving regional transportation issues, by hearing about specific advanced cases from around the country and the processes for utilizing advanced technologies.
Please come to the venue and experience for yourself the possibilities of using future technology to solve local issues and develop new towns.

everfleet
The full-scale introduction of autonomous driving vehicles requires that vehicle location information and surrounding conditions be grasped in real time, and that operation management be performed efficiently and safely from remote locations. Low-latency, highly reliable data communication technology and centralized management of multiple vehicles will enable safe and secure operation and improved business efficiency.

Digital Map
We provide a DX platform that allows you to easily create your own original digital map that is closely tied to your community. By taking advantage of the characteristics of digital technology, you can distribute location information and congestion status of moving objects such as route buses in real time. In addition, it is equipped with electronic coupon and digital stamp rally functions, realizing the digitalization of the city on a single map to meet various needs.

Bus come
"Bus Come," a reservation system exclusively for autonomous driving electric buses, features a unique design that is friendly and easy to use, as well as intuitive back-office functions. This enables efficient operation and provides strong support for the smooth operation of autonomous driving electric buses.
In addition, it has high scalability that allows it to be linked to various systems such as payment systems, MaaS systems, and city OS, and can be flexibly customized according to the operating area. "Bus Come" provides a highly reliable solution that supports the transportation of the future.

Avatar EV Bus Guide
The Avatar EV Bus Guide provides passengers with optimal guidance and a warm guide experience. The AI and remote-controlled avatars provide easy-to-understand explanations of autonomous driving system and the driving route, and also respond to passengers' questions. Furthermore, by communicating with passengers in accordance with their interests and concerns, the bus makes the ride a fun and fulfilling experience.

AVACOM
At the AVITA booth, we will be exhibiting the avatar customer service service "AVACOM" and holding a demonstration where visitors can experience operating an avatar. In addition, in the adjacent cafe space, avatars will act as cafe staff and serve drinks.
We'll entertain you while you wait with casual conversation, mini-games and more, so please come along.
