Guideline compliant product: Abandoned vehicle detection system / Prevention support device "Mikke"

From April 1, 2023, it will be compulsory to install safety devices inside the bus in order to prevent children from being left behind on the shuttle bus. Along with this, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has formulated guidelines for safety devices that help prevent pick-up buses from being left behind.

These guidelines summarize the requirements for products that are recognized as safety devices to prevent human error, along with measures such as manual operation. The product will be of two types:
・Automatic detection

・Getting off confirmation ceremony

In addition, the Cabinet Office website publishes products that conform to the guidelines. By installing the products listed on the website inside the bus, you can clear the obligation to install safety devices.
