Kanagawa Cyber Security Forum 2022 Spring

The risks of cyberspace are increasing year by year, and the attack methods and routes of attackers are diversifying. Various companies and organizations are taking measures to combat increasingly sophisticated cyber risks, but many people may be at a loss as to what kind of measures they should actually take. In addition, many cybersecurity-related events are held in Tokyo, and many companies that are not based in Tokyo find it difficult to participate.

Therefore, this event will be led by companies and organizations based in Kanagawa Prefecture, and will work on cybersecurity awareness activities from Kanagawa Prefecture. Bank of Yokohama, which actually takes cybersecurity measures, Kanagawa Prefectural Police, which promotes countermeasures against cybercrime, and Macnica, which conducts cybersecurity research and provides cutting-edge technology from overseas, gathered together to discuss an overview of cyber risks and actual countermeasures. We hope to make this an event where we can share information that is useful to those who attend, such as case studies, trends in cybercrime and countermeasure technology, etc.

This event is open to everyone from outside Kanagawa Prefecture. People from outside the prefecture are also welcome to participate.

While security incidents are causing a stir in the world, it is necessary to prioritize and promote security measures because there is no budget to implement your own security measures at random. "[Anti-threat-type cyber-attack] Security action for small and medium-sized enterprises to start now"
Recently, many of you may feel that there are more opportunities to see news of security incidents at various companies. The background to this is changes in attack methods and the fact that even large companies that have introduced expensive security equipment have not been able to respond well to these changes. In this session, we will provide an easy-to-understand explanation of the background to the rapid increase in incidents and changes in attack methods. On top of that, I would like to briefly explain what I would like people in charge of security at small and medium-sized enterprises to do now, and the key points of future security measures that should be continuously addressed with the minimum resources.
