Texas Instruments C2000 Series: How many clocks does it take for the CLA to detect a trigger and respond?
Microcomputer
C2000 series
7 clocks. The instruction fetch starts at the 4th clock after trigger detection, and after 3 clocks, it flows through the pipeline and reaches the phase called D2. As a side note, it is also possible to set an early trigger for the ADC and take out the reading at the same clock as the end of conversion.
