When using ModelSim® from the Nios® II Software Build Tools (SBT) for Eclipse to perform a simulation that includes software, some processing at startup can be omitted (*1) by checking enable_sim_optimize in the BSP Editor. You can shorten the time until the main() function is executed.
*1 Codes built with this option checked cannot be used in actual applications.
