Intel: What are the precautions when programming with JAM STAPL Player for Arria® 10?

Arria

Category: Programming/Configuration
Tools: Others
Device: Arria® 10

The writing software (jam.exe) by JAM STAPL Player is included in the Quartus Programmer, so you can write using USB-Blaster via the command line by using the following options.

quartus_jli -aCONFIGURE -l -c1 (File name).jam

(caution)
Beforehand, run the quartus_jli -n command to get the download cable information, for example, if the message says USB-1, specify -c1.
(If USB-2 is displayed, specify -c2.)

You can also write to the Arria 10 FPGA using ByteBlaster II.

jam -V -aCONFIGURE (File name).jam

All the above results were performed with Quartus Prime Standard Edition.
In our testing, the project did not compile successfully when using *.jbc files and with Qurtus Prime Pro Edition.
