Intel: Unable to generate simulation model for Synopsys® VCS-MX. An error occurs even though the path of the VCS-MX executable file storage directory is specified in Executable location. Also, an error occurs even if I run the simulation with Nativelink.

On 64bit machines you need to use the vhdlan -full64 option instead of vhdlan.
To use VCS as 64bit architecture by default, you need to set the VCS_TARGET_ARCH environment variable.

Set the environment variables according to your machine's situation, such as VCS_TARGET_ARCH=amd64 or VCS_TARGET_ARCH=linux64.
