Chip beads for large current. By lowering the DC resistance value and molding with a special material, a maximum rated current of 10A is achieved with a chip bead inductor. Effective as an alternative to bead ferrite inductors that may burn out due to inrush current. In addition, the low DC resistance can reduce unnecessary losses in the circuit. Compared to common mode choke coils that use conventional ferrite cores such as "NiZn" and "MnZn", this product is characterized by "small size", "light weight" and "low loss". From the comparison table below, it can be seen that the magnetic permeability μ is a large value compared to other materials. Since the magnetic permeability is high, inductance can be obtained with a small number of turns, and Rdc is also small, resulting in low loss. In terms of temperature characteristics, one of the features is that a stable inductance value can be maintained in a high-temperature environment. It can be realized with about 50% miniaturization in volume ratio and Rdc less than half.
