Enhanced high-speed data transmission capabilities to expand opportunities in the connectivity market

SAN JOSE, Calif.: March 9, 2025- Parade Technologies, Ltd., a leading supplier of high-speed interface, video display and touch controller ICs, and Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. (TSXV: SEV) (OTCQB: SPVNF), a Canadian analog semiconductor company, announced that they have signed a definitive agreement under which Parade will acquire key assets of Spectra7, including intellectual property (IP), products, designs, inventory and certain other assets.
By acquiring key assets from Spectra7, Parade Technologies is well positioned to further strengthen its global leadership in high-speed connectivity solutions. The acquisition will enable Parade to continue selling Spectra7's existing portfolio of advanced active cable products, as well as leverage Spectra7's technology to develop new high-speed solutions. Parade believes that Spectra7's cutting-edge SiGe technology, capable of data speeds of over 112Gbps, will be of great help to Parade in its expansion into high-growth markets such as data centers, AI-driven computing, and next-generation consumer electronics. Additionally, as part of the acquisition, a number of Spectra7 employees will join Parade Technologies, ensuring continuity of technical expertise and customer support. This strategic acquisition will enable Parade to further advance its delivery of faster, more power-efficient, signal-preserving connectivity solutions to meet the evolving needs of today's data-driven world.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025.
