Introducing the PS8353 DP2.1a 20Gbps Linear Redriver/Reversible Active Cable and DP/eDP Signal Conditioning

SAN JOSE, Calif.: August 21, 2024, Parade Technologies, Ltd., a leading supplier of high-speed interface, video display and touch controller ICs, announced the availability of the PS8353 DP2.1a 20Gbps linear redriver, which facilitates DP2.1a reversible or bidirectional active cable and DP/eDP signal conditioning in notebook, desktop PC and tablet designs.

The PS8353 supports up to 4 lanes of DP2.1a/eDP and UHBR 20Gbps link rates. It features low power consumption and power management including Modern Standby (~0.5mW) and DP2.1a Advanced Link Power Management (ALPM). The power-saving design minimizes power consumption on DP2.1a active cables, significantly extending battery life for mobile devices. It comes in a very small package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs.
