Parade, USB4/TBT4 Retimer, Featured on Snapdragon® X Elite and Snapdragon® X Plus Copilot+ PCs

Parade Technologies announced on June 26, 2024 that it will ship the PS8830 USB4/TBT4 retimer to Copilot+PC, a leading OEM customer powered by the Snapdragon® X Elite and Snapdragon® X Plus platforms that deliver game-changing AI performance and efficiency.

The PS8830 USB4/TBT4 retimer is optimized for use with the Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus platforms. The PS8830 is USB-IF USB4 compliant with up to Gen3 x2 40Gbps (2x 20Gbps) and Thunderbolt4 with TBT3.0 support up to 41.25Gbps (2x 20.625Gbps). USB4 tunneling for DP1.4a and USB3.2, DP2.1 alt mode up to UHBR are supported. Customer implementations using the Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus platforms also include the Parade PS185 DP-HDMI2.0 converter to add HDMI connectivity, the PS8719 USB3.2 Gen1 redriver and PS8811 USB3.2 Gen2 retimer for USB-A connectivity, and benefit from proven performance and industry-leading compatibility.
