Automotive High-Voltage MOSFET Product Overview

Infineon offers a lineup of automotive MOSFETs that comply with AEC-Q101 for low, medium and high voltages.
The maximum operating temperature is 175℃, so you can consider it widely without being tied to a specific application. The CFD7A series, which is the latest technology for high voltage, offers higher design flexibility compared to the previous generation, while providing higher reliability and power density.

The Kelvin source connection concept used on the D2PAK-7 pins also reduces ringing due to parasitic inductances and improves switching performance, which is particularly beneficial in systems with high currents as it reduces switching losses and temperature rise. Furthermore, the large 4.2mm creepage distance between drain and source/gate makes the device suitable for use in systems with battery voltages up to 475V.
