The PFD7 high-voltage N-channel MOSFET series combines best-in-class performance and leading-edge ease-of-use, enabled by more than 20 years of Infineon's experience in pioneering superjunction innovation.
In addition, an extremely low Qrr has been achieved by improving the recovery of the body diode. The result is a product series that not only improves the efficiency of low-power drives, but also promises noise reduction. We ensure a robust device and reduced bill of materials for our customers.

The use of MOSFETs greatly contributes to loss reduction at light loads (range of high operating frequency). This is because MOSFETs have a lower on-voltage than IGBTs.

The PFD7 series offers up to 2% higher efficiency and 18°C thermal improvement compared to CoolMOS™ CE (previous generation) at 100W motor drive. Considering its excellent commutation immunity and low EMI, it is the perfect solution for low power drives.
