What is OptiMOS™ 5 Linear FET 2?
OptiMOS™5 Linear FET 2 is a breakthrough product that avoids the trade-off between RDS(on) and operation in the saturation region of linear-mode = enhanced-mode MOSFETs.
Although conventional superjunction MOSFETs excel at high-efficiency switching, their applications have been limited due to the risk of heat problems and gate losses in linear operation (continuous operation at a high VDS state).
This product offers the leading edge RDS(on) of a trench MOSFET and the wide safe operating area (SOA) of a planar MOSFET.
