The Bourns® BPS160 Series and BPS170 Series provide superior performance in ultra-low pressure sensing applications while providing greater flexibility in digital system designs

RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- March 31, 2025 -- Bourns, a leading manufacturer of electronic components for power, protection and sensing solutions, has expanded its environmental sensor product line with the introduction of two new pressure sensor series. The Bourns® BPS160 Series (analog pressure sensor) and BPS170 Series (digital pressure sensor) are designed to provide superior performance in ultra-low pressure sensing applications. Both series have a wide (-14.5 to 14.5) PSI range and are suitable for a variety of applications, including low-to-medium risk medical equipment, white goods, industrial P/I and process control systems.

Offered in compact surface mount packages, these pressure sensor series enable design flexibility in digital systems and reduce development time with compensated plug-and-play capability. With dual horizontal ports, 13-bit digital-to-analog conversion (DAC) resolution, and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 100°C, the latest gauge sensors offer excellent linearity that provides consistent measurements under a variety of environmental conditions.

The Bourns® BPS160 Series (analog pressure sensors) and BPS170 Series (digital pressure sensors) are currently available and are RoHS compliant.
