Product Summary
The A89332 three-phase sensorless fan controller helps reduce costs in data centers. With power loss braking, the A89332 gate driver IC can reduce energy consumption by stopping fans that lose power or are not functioning properly.
The A89332 is supplied in a 26-pin 4 mm x 4 mm QFN package (suffix EX) with an exposed pad.
The A89331 three-phase motor driver features integrated MOSFETs and provides sensorless control, eliminating the need for Hall sensors in server fan applications. The A89331 incorporates a sensorless sine wave driver to minimize vibration in high speed server fans.
The A89331 is available in a 28-pin 5 mm x 5 mm QFN package with exposed power pad (suffix ET) and a 20-pin TSSOP package with exposed power pad (suffix LP). As the leading zero-programming solution for data center cooling fans, these drivers combine a flexible closed-loop speed control system with an EEPROM to tune the general function of the fan speed curve to the specific application. This eliminates the need for a microprocessor-based system and minimizes programming requirements.
